The anemometer determines the air speed through a winged wheel with a diameter of 65 mm. The anemometer accurately and reliably measures air speed in a range of 0.3 to 45 m/s. In addition to measuring the speed, the anemometer also determines the flow rate. Additionally, the anemometer integrates a Beaufort Scale. Through this Beaufort Scale you can visualize on the screen the degree of intensity of the wind. Depending on the orientation of the winged wheel, you can also determine the direction of the wind with the anemometer. This is made possible by the gyroscope built into the anemometer sensor. At the same time, the ambient temperature is also indicated in a range from 0 to 45 ºC on the anemometer screen. The anemometer's telescopic probe can be extended to a maximum of 270 … 540 mm, allowing optimal positioning of the probe. The internal memory of the anemometer allows to store up to 960 values. Via the micro USB interface you can transfer the values ​​to a PC. The software can be downloaded from our page (Downloads section). With it you can analyze and edit the values ​​measured with the anemometer.
